Derkson Fencing Workmanship Coverage 2021

Provided with New Fence Sales Effective March 2021

Workmanship Coverage: 

All Fencing installations regardless of type, once completed will cary a 12 Month Workmanship guarentee, Derkson Contracting Ltd. will cover approved workmanship defects for a period of one year, that are due to failer to compelete installation to industry standards. 

Workmanship coverage is for installs that are not installed correctly, this is a very rare occurance however it may happen, there are 100s of ways to build fences, every company & contractor has a different technique & and is the prefered method of that installer along wiht a widely accepted methods across North America that we accept as acceptable install. 

There is absolutey no Coverage for any factors relating to and not limited to: Acts of mothernature:  ground shift, ground heaving, ground setteling, ground movement in general. Its a fact the Ground will move & shift & over time, other factors such as snow load, Water damage, ground erosion, Tree stumps moing with ground, growing trees, roots, rocks, vehicle traffic, ecessive wind load, snow load, yard material stacked against a fence, installing or instllation of any items to the fence, placing earth against fence, using the fence as a retaining wall, ground erosion and more will all move or damage your fence, excessive vibration, wet ground, sitting water, Ice, misuse of fence, excessive heat sources, extrem sun, hail, wind, extreme cold, & other factors, such as and not limited to alterations to fence not approved by the vendor NOT THE INSTALLER, gate issues, adjustments, or failer to pay for any recomended upgrades to avoid issues in your specific area of install, no 2 properties are the same and all conditions result in a different affect on the fence and none of these are warranty items.

Material Warranty: 

Derkson Contracting Ltd acts as the Dealer / Contactor / Installer / Supplier & and are not the material vendor, wholesaler or manafacture in any way. Derkson Conctracting offers products to clients for sale & install only, and all warranties of product are compeltly seperate from our workmanship coverage. 

Derkson Contracting will assist in any material warranty claim & will do our best to get you to the right department, manafctures require customers to deal diretly with the manafcture for warranty claims. Derkson Contracting Ltd. is not in anyway responsable for any product defects or subject warranty item, it is the sole descression of the manafcture to decide warranty worthyness. Each Material Vendor offers different Material Warranties. however any material provided to you as warranty materials the manacftures responsibility is expressly limited to the terms set forth herein. They are not liable for labour expense, sales taxs, delivery charges, or other expenses pertaining to the removal, disposal, replacement or installation or either the orgional or replacement products. Any costs or expence beyond the manafctures liability as decribed herein shall be the sole responsibility of the end purchaser. 

Damage to fence due to any of the factors above in the non workmanship coverage items will also void any material warranties with the vendors, you are welcome to try to sumit a claim, but at that point its an insurance claim with your home or business insurance company.

*** Please note that any & all offshore material does not have warranty, regardless what anyone tells you, so if you choose to use an offshore product the reason its cheeper is there is no warranty, there is no distrubition chain that can produce a warranty item & may or may not be available onging.
